Our History
1952
Employees Savings and Loan association (ESLA) was formed and organized by Bugo Cannery and Plantation Employees of Phil. Packing
1969
ESLA was re-organized as cooperative credit union and renamed Plantation Employees Cooperative Credit Union, Inc(PECCUI).
1971
Consumers cooperative was formally organized, and named as Plantation Consumers Cooperative Inc. (PCCI). Chain stores were then opened in the Municipalities of Manolo Fortich, Libona, Sumilao and Impasug-ong.
1976
The two cooperatives ceased to perate, PPC took over its usual operation.
1977
PPC management team oversee the technical and financial assistance of the two cooperatives and handled its operation.
1980
PECCUI and PCCI were converted into a Community type cooperative to expand its Membership and are of operations. It was renamed as Community Credit Cooperative of Bukidnon (CCCB) and Bukidnon Community Consumers Cooperative (BCCC).
1985
Cooperative building was burned down but with the assistance of PPC, the cooperatives continued its operation.
1990
Cooperative Employees took over PPC Management team.
2006
As approved by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) BCCC's name was changed to Bukidnon Community Cooperative (BCC) and at the same time converted to a Multi-purpose cooperative. BCC was also registered with DOLE as job contractor and manpower service provider.
2007
The merger of the two cooperatives, the Community Credit Cooperative of Bukidnon (CCCB) and the Bukidnon Community Cooperative was approved by CDA. The surviving name is now called Bukidnon Community Cooperative (BCC)
